Universities have been relying on ACT scores to decide who gets in and who doesn't for over 60 years now and all US universities accept ACT scores as the standard admissions approach. Which makes ACT (American College Testing) the gold standard notably in its four areas of knowledge; math, English, reading, and science reasoning as well as the optional direct writing test. ACT vs SAT
There's a lot of confusion about ACT vs SAT but the key differences are that ACT includes a science section, it's computer-based, and it has 24 testing opportunities per year as opposed to the 6 of SAT.
